As I wrote in my blog, I had to approach the marina area and to try the cuisine of Lugo. In Viveiro have plenty to eat all, closer to the beach within walking distance Viveiro is in Covas. In this area we have many bars, some pafetes, many inns and taverns to eat at a good price.
Cross the bridge and continue Mayor Mercy Street over the bridge or take the walk to the beach Covas, where at the end of both streets find this famous and popular inn. Owners also carry PizzBur, another very generous local at adjoining tapas and pizzas which are consistent and rich. The small dining room is rustic and stone, and their walls are hung tambourines, bicycles and musical instruments.
About the food, is a traditional inn where Raxo (pork loin) is exquisite janitor and octopus "As Tixolas" excels. Octopus "As Tixolas" is a small octopus grilled and make your presentation janitor is very funny. It also has other portions as patatas bravas and some tables that we can try at home. But most of the desserts are all homemade and tart Granny I liked a lot. It also has some mixed Tixolas but did not impress janitor me at all so I do remain convinced. We can accompany our meal with a cider ideally served by its graceful and useful system.
The staff is nice, and in my case properly advising on quantities to order. Always appreciate these details, plus serve generous portions for a good price. Of course we must forget janitor to take something dietary, and assume that we give to cholesterol.
The value for money is very competitive and if we take a Tixolas Octopus and a few rations. If you're in the account plan tapas Inchara not, and just take the cider drinks, so I can not comment on the prices of other drinks.
